Musk Says He'll Step Down as CEO of Twitter Once a Replacement Is Identified

Elon Musk announced on Tuesday that he will step down as CEO of Twitter once a replacement is found. 

“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams,” Musk wrote on Twitter.

 

It's the first time Musk has suggested stepping down as CEO of the social media network, after Twitter users voted in favor of him in a poll sponsored by the billionaire on Sunday evening. 

For weeks, Wall Street has been calling for Musk to resign, and recently, Tesla Inc.
